Palate

Sweet and round at first then drying on oak notes. Dusty spices. Getting astringent and prickly.

Finish

Dry, slightly burning. A nutty aftertaste.

Comment

This whisky is rather grumpy at start but on time, it reveals a richer profile. Classic malty character.
