Nose

Big strawberry notes: fresh fruit, cooking jam, and strawberry laces. Hints of cocoa, ground walnut, and sawdust. Fresh honeycomb. Then comes the coconut: coconut oil, desiccated coconut, and coconut chocolate bar.

Palate

Light. Parma Violet sweets (even with slight effervescence). Cherry cola. Woody spices, leaning towards root beer, and a little dark chocolate.

Finish

Medium. Oaky spice and ginger ale.

Comment

There were some flashes of rye character, but I would have liked to see a little more.
