Tasting Notes

Nose

Fruity but with a sour note. Cider apple, even cider cellar with a note of damp wood. In the back, curry. Keeps sour. Obviously a high content of rye.

Palate

Crisp. In the same key as the nose. Sour plum compote. Varnish. Hint of Turkish delight.

Finish

Sweeter. Slightly nutty. Caramelised pecan. Lingering.

Comment

Another Rye Whiskey? The nose is a bit dour but the palate is more balanced. An interesting character.
