Nose
There’s a funky top note at first, like sweaty Dutch cheese, but it soon gives way to a dark, fruity Armagnac with thick caramel sauce, currants and furniture polish.
Palate
Oily at first as that cheesiness washes over the tongue, then the fruits come into play: raisins, prunes and pickled walnuts.
Finish
Fruity, dry and funky. Reminds me of a VS Cognac.
