Nose

Green apple, a hint of allspice, and vegetal notes of parsley and coriander stalks. Then golden syrup and flapjack with sultana and mixed candied peels. Caramel cake and vanilla buttercream.

Palate

Medium-full. Caramel cookie. Rum-raisin ice cream. Strong vanilla latte. Roasted peach, raspberry jam, and hints of cinnamon and allspice. Blanched almond, chocolate-coated orange peel, and candied ginger.

Finish

Long. Dried cherry and woody spice.

Comment

A little warm with the ABV, but it’s complex and flavoursome.
