Nose

Sweet and gentle. Pecan and caramel pie. Treacle tart with hot vanilla custard on the side. Caramelised apple flan. More pastry notes emerge with almond croissant. A little lilac floral notes. The oak shines through.

Palate

All the sweetness roll through. Almond paste and apricot jam. A touch of spun sugar. Oak starts to grip, pencil shavings and fresh sawdust.

Finish

Long and engaging, ends with a gentle chilli bite.
