Nose

A light citrus note (lemon peel and tangerine) followed by a cream slice where the puff pastry has gone slightly soft. There’s a touch of Sprite and just a hint of new make and even some peat.

Palate

Grassy with those citrus notes coming through, before sweet apples, whipped cream, and Danish apricot pastries.

Finish

Tinned pears and a bit of oak spice.

Comment

A gentle whisky with a nice, sweet touch, if missing a bit of oomph.
