Nose

A perfectly-shaped layer of honey. A hint of lavender and peppermint add to the complexity.

Palate

Fat and explosive on the palate, the spiced oiliness is infused with acacia honey richness which gives way to biscuity maltiness.

Finish

Dries fast as the oak takes hold, though a sweetness lingers.

Comment

Past its best with one or two off-key notes, but otherwise still holds out well.
