Nose
Powerful. Meaty: roasting tin, Bovril, roasted chestnut, black butter, treacle toffee, struck match. With water: charred, rich and smoky-campfire/burnt rope.
Palate
Thick and powerful. Meaty again: water makes it sweeter, bringing out dried fruits over the smoky dry notes of char and roasted coffee.
Finish
Campfire ashes.
Comment
