Nose

Aloe, under-ripe banana, uncooked bread dough, and elastic bands. Delicately creamy, with honeydew melon. In time, some peach sorbet.

Palate

Eucalyptus, pear drop, and delicately medicinal. There’s anise, green apple and it’s all underpinned by restrained vanilla notes.

Finish

The pear drop sweetens up on the finish and a honey note develops.

Comment

What we call in the office ‘green’ whisky. Pleasantly distillate forward and toeing the line of maturity. I like it, but it will be divisive.
