Nose

Oaky, with a butyric note. Damp cellar. Slowly opening on fruit aromas. Greengage jam. The butyric note steps back.

Palate

Sweet at first then some gripping oak and a spice bite. Rum custard in the back. Still a butyric touch.

Finish

Dry, warm with a bitter edge.

Comment

This whisky needs time to fully express itself. Oak is prevailing which makes the whisky unbalanced.
