Nose

Some sweet tea notes, along with honey, baked apples and orange peel, a dash of something potentially smoky and savoury (rosemary) underneath. \n

Palate

Old books, red fruits, dusty cocao, yesterday’s cigarettes, brown sugar and cream. An old world, armchair kind of dram.\n

Finish

Nice heat at the front of the palate with baking spice notes around the sides and gums. Dark and comforting. \n

Comment

A classy, rich whisky that one can take one’s time with. Wouldn’t want more than one or two, as quite full-on, but attractive nonetheless.
