Nose

Burnt wood, medicinal peat. Chunky Oloroso with succulent orange, tangerine, bitter chocolaty wood spices. Intense bitter coffee and manure follows.

Palate

Quite soft (relatively speaking!) and very herbal with drying chocolaty tannins by the bucketful. Astringent, medicinal peat follows and drying alcohol. \n

Finish

Intense, mouth-watering, herbal sherry and mentholated, medicinal peat. I can still taste it five minutes later! \n

Comment

Big sherry and even bigger peat. It’s a monster. Those of a nervous disposition should turn away now, but I love it.
