Nose

Earl Grey tea and lemon. Dried apple chunks and a hint of maple syrup. Oat biscuits. Iodine, and fallen leaves after rain.

Palate

Light-medium bodied. Apple and honey granola with almond milk. Oatcakes with a thick layer of butter. Continuing, but much muted, notes of peat.

Finish

Medium, on lemon peel, spent black tea leaves and a little more iodine.

Comment

A simple and approachable peaty dram.
