Nose

Pungent and feinty with lanolin and very young herbal rye. This is barely out of its nappy! With time some nascent toasty oak appears.

Palate

Not quite as pungent and feinty with a touch more oak and corn to balance the oily, raw, herbal rye. The impurities in the spirit begin to build however.\n

Finish

Intense, hot, feinty and herbal.\n

Comment

This should have been given a lot more time in the cask, it’s been bottled far too early and thus it’s very difficult to evaluate because of the impurities that haven’t been removed by the oak.
