Nose
Marine, phenolic, peppery. Tarred boat, shellfish, peat embers and some smoke. A hint of bogmyrtle. And above all these sea aromas, a hovering malty sweetness. On time, peaches in vanilla.
Palate
Smooth and sweet with a sherbet feel at mid palate. Seaweeds, smoke, pickled lemons (lemons in salt).
Finish
Dry, peppery with a lovely delicate blancmange aftertaste.
Comment
A beautifully balanced islander. The marine aromatic display is just enticing, constantly teasing the malty sweet heart.
