Nose

Powerful and peaty, with some lighter floral notes nestling under the peat\rsmoke, menthol lozenges, sweet wine notes, digestive biscuits and\rbutterscotch.

Palate

Slightly youthful on the first sip, with a bitter caramel note emerging , a slab\rof peat smoke and underneath, some cloudy apple juice and oak. Needs\rwater to develop it.

Finish

Drying, a little bitter and very smoky.

Comment

With water, this shows signs of popping its head over to the other side, but only fleetingly.
