Tasting Notes

Nose

Astonishingly light: the malty grassiness is closer to it being an 8 Years Old!! Oak is apparent but almost apologetic.

Palate

At its height the intensity is a must for chocoholics.

Finish

Dry and jaded with the cocoa keeping a lid on the oaky excesses.

Comment

The nose lies. A classic example of a Speysider beyond its prime. Ultimately it fails to give full satisfaction.
