Nose
Brown bread and pecan-twist pastries. Sticky toffee pudding and milk chocolate bar with rum-raisin ice cream. A subtle note of hay, with orange oils and muscovado.
Palate
Light bodied. Sweet and pastry-like. Pecan pie. There’s candied ginger, almond paste and a hint of cardamom. Some ephemeral fruitiness lurks beneath.
Finish
Medium-short. Sweetness fades out and tannins make an appearance.
Comment
Very tasty, but not quite enough complexity to take it further.
