Nose

Overt oakiness - wood freshly treated with Danish oil. Then comes red fruits, rhubarb, almond and a light herbal note before paprika and a green vegetal note.

Palate

Intense and slightly nutty. Firm wood giving it a slight bittersweet edge. Just a little hint of treacle and then lots of spices like sumac.

Finish

That refreshing tartness continues as the red fruits return.
