Nose

A hot spicy peat, integrates with peppercorns, some roasted red pepper, but sits alongside something a little sweeter and more perfumed. Some toffee sweetness is there too.

Palate

The pepper from the nose coats the tongue and you're immediately into a very savoury affair, with oak cakes, a touch of red chilli, but backed with a hint of sweetness.

Finish

The pepperiness dies away to reveal a lingering oakiness and red apple skin.

Potent, yet inviting, this has plenty going on to keep the keenest of palates entertained with it.
