Nose

Peat smoke, treacle, muscovado, and black pepper. Tinned pineapple. Bananas with custard, chopped sweet peppers, pickled veg, and double cream.

Palate

Sweet vanilla custard, barbeque-roasted bananas, smoked pears, sultanas, coconut cream and delicate candied ginger. Marshmallow fluff spread on chocolate digestives.

Finish

Long, on gentle woodsmoke and marshmallow.

Wondrously moreish, this could become a regular after-work sipper.
