Nose
Quite aromatic: frankincense, dried orange peel, some rose, toffee, dusty books, and raspberries.
Palate
Nicely mouthcoating and silky. More robust than I was expecting, but in a good way. Cherries, dark chocolate, orange cake, and even a touch of liquorice. Well-integrated alcohol.
Finish
Lengthy and warming, with a healthy dose of peppery spice.
Comment
Needs a little time in the glass but very enjoyable and hearty.
