Nose
Porridge with maple syrup, into a touch of unusual smokiness and some lingering medicinal cleanliness. Like a gammon coated in black treacle and slightly over cooked perhaps?
Palate
Hugely rich and woody, with a creosote note, leading to a touch of bitter sweet black treacle and a meatiness. Yes, it's that gammon from the nose!\r
Finish
Lingering wood and burnt bonfire smoke, the way everything tastes if you're dining outdoors at a scout camp.
Comment
More Dramboree than Jamboree, me thinks. Very nice indeed.
