Nose

Quite elusive and well meshed. Soft fruity notes like baked pear and apple skin. A slightly heavier note underneath, banana chips and lemon drizzle cake.

Palate

Ripening apples with caramel toffee sauce. With water the apples turn green. Sparkling mineral water. Marzipan.

Finish

Curiously fizzy, long and then mulchy.

Comment

Interesting to go back and compare the two bottlings. Both took a while to unravel but worth the wait.
