Nose

Big and sweet to start: caramel and vanilla bean, honey and raspberries. There’s a slight cranachan vibe, alongside a roasty firewood smoke.

Palate

Peaches, roasted pineapple, cream, wildflower honey, and a bit of warming earthy smoke make this a complex and comforting sip.

Finish

Beautifully elegant spice sticks around alongside the smoke but not hot or tannic at all.

A well-rounded dram, with loads of layers that keep being revealed as I go back for one sip after another.
