Nose

There’s something here that reminds me of being in an old hotel in the Highlands — wood polish, leather, and dust, alongside comforting old-bottle smells. A bit of brown sugar, raisins, and cinnamon stick linger too.

Palate

Gentle — bananas flambéed in Cognac, some sultanas, butterscotch, and vanilla pods.

Finish

Short to medium length, with a gentle spice.

Comment

A comforting and familiar hug — something that could do with a bit more backbone on the palate, but that is still exceedingly welcoming.
