Nose

Well rounded with a nice mix of fruit, spice, citrus, and wood. There’s baked plums, orange zest, pink peppercorn, and aromatic cedar.

Palate

Lots of toffee-covered pecans here, and pecan pie too. Flaky pastry, then a nice, sharp tangerine note, before some burnt butter.

Finish

Medium length with a dry woody spice.

Comment

Really liked the complexity on the nose here but felt the palate wasn’t quite as rich in flavours. Nice, certainly, but not as much oomph as I wanted.
