Nose
Mango, melon and red cherries lead, then lots of oak and big floral notes of tulips and roses. Sweetness comes, sugared almonds, honeyed peaches and lemon drops, before headier notes of jasmine.
Palate
Nectarines, peach melba and red cocktail cherries, lashings of honey and a big hit of parma violet.
Finish
A big puff of cinnamon spice and chilli heat that rolls off into violets.
Comment
Gorgeous. Violets all the way, with lovely sweetness that builds and is balanced beautifully by oak.
