Nose

Shy on the nose. Apple and pear crumble with toasted porridge oats and chopped hazelnuts. A lick of minerality, reminiscent of sea shells taken straight from the water, plus sawdust blowing around the glass.

Palate

Soft and demure, a bowl of peaches and cream with posh granola full of lovely nuts. The salty air whips past.

Finish

Vanilla-sprinkled seashells, dehydrated lemon wheels and varnished pine.

Lots of interest there in an understated organoleptic package.
