Nose
Plenty of oak, very rich and earthy tones to it. Drinking in the dunnage warehouse, damp earth and oak, hints of peat wafting through too. Something Christmassy as well, Christmas cake and mince pie mix, sultanas and dried orange.
Palate
Plenty of peat, but not that palate killing style. This is lush and rich. Mint chocolate and sherry soaked fruit cake notes.
Finish
Smoky like a good Cuban cigar, rich vanilla and long lasting.
Comment
Just the foil for a good Cuban cigar. A perfect level of peat too.
