Nose

Peach and apricot fromage frais, foam banana sweets, Horlicks malt drink, coconut ice, and fresh pear. Vanilla Yankee candle.

Palate

Ripe apples and pears, peaches and cream, vanilla syrup, sponge cake, malted milk, and a little fresh blueberry. Some mandarin segments, too.

Finish

Medium-short, on ripe peaches and pears.

Comment

Totally clean, fresh and easy-going. A great example of a blended Scotch, though a little more concentration of flavour would’ve pushed it into the 8s for me.
