Nose
Classical dried fruits, to the lighter side – apricots and sultanas. Baked apples, rum-toft. The pleasant fruit dies away. Malted milk biscuits, mossy, with citronella, becomes perfumed.
Palate
Very fruity! Apricot jam, lemon curd. Floral honey, and quite waxy too. Barley sugar and candied fruits. Some solvent notes cut through the fruit, then limes and grapefruit juice.
Finish
Fruit gums, grapefruit lingers, but the flavour fades swiftly.
Comment
A whisky interrupted. Wonderful while the flavours lasted.
