Tasting Notes

Nose

Oof, lots to like – buttery, bready, yeastiness mingling with those rich dried fruits of sultanas and figs. Strawberry jam on toast. Milk chocolate. Oranges.

Palate

Creamy, oily, with plenty of ginger warmth and custard. Strawberry jam and vanilla. Parmaviolets and dried apricots. Sultanas – plenty of those – and salted caramel.

Finish

Short, but very pleasing, with the parmaviolets and strawberry notes at the end.

Comment

Just a lovely everyday dram – essential for the cabinet.
