Nose
This one draws me in immediately: warm pineapple, grainy pears, maple syrup, and some red fruits — perhaps raspberry. It’s vibrant and enticing.
Palate
Nice gentle, rounded sweetness here. Those red fruits really come to the fore, now strawberry and redcurrant alongside the raspberry. A subtle earthiness and some toffee-covered apples, too.
Finish
Long and enduring, with great fruit and spice across the whole palate.
Comment
A luscious and frankly delicious whisky — the right balance of alcohol heat alongside the sweetness.
