Nose
Initially there’s an almost lingering liquorice sweetness that catches the back of my nose before baked oranges, sticky maple syrup, and a bit of fleshy peach.
Palate
A bit lighter on palate — could do with a touch more ABV. Caramel covered apples, crème caramel, and powdery sweets all spring to mind.
Finish
Very gentle finish with just a wisp of alcohol. Oak is well balanced.
Comment
A pleasant and soft dram if a little underwhelming.
