Tasting Notes

Nose

Treacle and molasses with some floral notes. This treacle character is prevalent. A bit of fennel, some earthy peatiness.

Palate

Sweet, simple with orange and aniseed.

Finish

An exhaust-like smokiness, and I couldn't quite work out if it was just the sherry cask maturation or a peatiness underneath.

Comment

Limited depth and complexity, but the dimensions this offers are bold and pleasing without particular off-notes.
