Nose

Immediate smell of the candy-coated fennel seeds that take me straight back nights out at curry restaurants as a child. Then a faint hint of tar, pine forest, and wood sap.

Palate

A big palate, with loads of melting brown sugar, dark chocolate, pecans, black liquorice, and a touch of rubber. With water, it softens at the edges but many of the original notes stay the same.

Finish

Fairly lengthy with notes of rubber hose and a bit of spice.

Comment

A heavy-duty whisky that you almost need a hard hat to consume.
