Nose

Pastel del nata (egg tart), custard cream biscuits, and tinned pineapple. Meringue, fresh raspberries, and orange flesh. Some sawn oak.

Palate

Medium. Under-ripe apricot, some nectarine, and mandarin juice. Plum flesh, blueberry and dried apple. A little oak spice.

Finish

Medium-short, on orange pith and delicate clove notes.

Comment

A malt-forward, fresh dram with plenty to like about it.
