Prunes in syrup. Raw cake batter laden with currants and candied peel. Fresh red cherry. Black pepper spice, and a tiny hint of woody liquorice. Raspberry-ripple ice cream. Hints of espresso powder and milk chocolate.

Palate

Medium. Milk chocolate-coated raisin and dried cranberry. Peppery spice and a hint of mushrooms cooked in oil. Dried fig, plum, and black cherry. Espresso powder and a hint of hazelnut.

Finish

Long, on caramelised sugar and Maraschino cherry.
