Nose

Takes a while to get past the acetone notes, then notes of coconut oil, blood orange and maraschino cherries develop into caramel wafers and chargrilled broccoli.

Palate

Waves of ginger and cumin spices, with orange cream chocolates, honey roasted root veg, white pepper and flat cherry cola.

Finish

Short, but full of spice to begin with that quickly dissipates into an oily texture.

Comment

Not as full bodied as expected for a rye but still has some interesting qualities.
