\"Sherried\" notes: date, dried fruits, walnut/chestnut, heading to rancio. There's a rich, generous spirit as well: burnt orange, rooty, honey.

Palate

Smoke under the rounded nutty dried figgy notes. Honey and soft malt.

Finish

Slightly tannic.

An old bugger, but the character still shines through the sherry.
