Tasting Notes

Nose

Lots of vanilla sweetness, pears, smoked almonds, and wood smoke. A minerally character with creosote and ash. With time and water, more floral, pot pourri elements appear. Parma violets.

Palate

Again, minerally with that floral element lying above the earth and smoke.

Finish

Ash and parma violets.

Comment

Fairly typical of the distillery, and a solid, tasty example.
