Nose

A fishing port as the fleet comes in. Fish oil,creosoted ropes, smoke. Everything is concentrated and resinous. A hint of pot pourri before the big phenols return:charred timbers,pipe tobacco.

Palate

Very smoky big and intense with rich oily weight behind,then sooty,that resin scent,smokehouse,camphor and seaweed. This length and layering is what sets this apart.

Finish

Long,dying embers.
