Nose

Cooked apple, vanilla pod, fondant icing, and a hint of warm tyre rubber. Some gentle Christmas-cake notes of sherry and currants. Oatcakes, apricot jam, and creamy porridge.

Palate

Light bodied. Tarte tatin and green apple skin. Granary toast with crunchy peanut butter, more sherried dried-fruit notes, and hints of candied citrus peel and toasted marshmallow.

Finish

Medium-short, on apple skin and oatcake.
