Nose

Crisp and grainy with hints of citrus, grass and very subtle oak. With time a little nutty toffee appears along with some honey, earth and fragrant tobacco smoke.

Palate

Soft and toffeed with honey and nuts. Sweeter than the nose and showing a lot more oak character. The crisp grain and lightly oiled dried fruit comes through on the middle to balance. \n

Finish

Long and succulent with the dried fruit lingering and finishing with a little chocolaty tannin and tobacco smoke. \n

Comment

A pleasant grain with good balance and character. Ideal for exploring grain whiskies.
