Nose

Big and grumbly, hitting a balance between roasted notes, meat, walnut and butter, heather and lilac.

Palate

Rich, with good weight. Chestnut, toffee, marmite. Dries towards the finish.

Finish

Dry and nutty.

Comment

Great balance, the distillery character not dominated by the cask. Slightly more restrained than the Signatory example.
