Nose

A lovely note of dusty cocoa to start, alongside vanilla pods, sarsaparilla, and old oak.

Palate

There’s a wonderful sweetness here that belies the ABV. That chocolate aroma comes through on the palate, and there’s baked chocolate chip cookies, brown sugar, cola cubes, and pecans.

Finish

Alongside a bit of spice, there’s something reminiscent of a coke float in summer.

Comment

A very tasty whisky that seems much lighter than you’d expect from the strength.
