Nose

This feels almost fresh to the nose — as if I’ve stepped out into a pine forest in midwinter. Some date syrup, orange peel, and liquorice too.

Palate

Black liquorice, rye bread, toasted linseed, walnuts, and dark brown sugar all make for a full flavour on the palate.

Finish

Spicy, with great depth, and lingering piney notes.

A brooding, dark whisky that makes you want to camp in the wilderness and look out for the Northern Lights by a fire.
