Sweet all the way and not much else, but very enjoyable for what it offers.

Nose: Carrot and caramel fudge cake with dark chocolate pieces. Rum and raisin ice cream, striped candy canes, walnut and sugared almonds. A little tobacco leaf.
Palate: All that toffee sweetness and the tropical fruit puree. A box of Mr Kiplings Fondant Fancies.
Finish: Swift and sweet icing sugar explosion, then it’s gone.
Comment: Sweet all the way and not much else, but very enjoyable for what it offers.

Taster
Nose: Rum raisin ice cream, pecan pie and butterscotch, then a hint of incense, honey roasted ham with cloves and soft fudge.
Palate: Spiced ham, Manuka honey, rum raisin fudge, then treacle tart with sea salt caramel as well.
Finish: A huge clove mouth-tingling finish.
Comment: This is quite one dimensional – rum raisin throughout. It’s nice though, but it just lacks nuance.
Score: 8
